It’s fair to say Mark Richard Hall's oeuvre is nuts. Conkers to be precise. His outsize horse chestnuts are magnificent tactile creations. British viewers in particular will fall in love with these delicious sculptures. After all, what Brit who ever played conkers has not marvelled at the perfection of a freshly opened horse chestnut?

Mark captures nature's perfection wonderfully. He says: “I love sculpture. I love the way you can actually have a physical relationship with it, take pleasure in its tactility and share the journey of the sculptor.”

Dorset-based Mark was born in 1970, and has been a professional artist and sculptor for 18 years. His work has collectors all over the world, and has been exhibited at the Chelsea Flower Show, Hampton Court, with one piece donated to HRH Prince of Wales for the Prince's Trust Garden.
