Location
By car
Parking is controlled in Hampstead between the hours of 9am – 8pm Monday to Saturday. It is however free on Sunday.
If you are coming by car and would like to park nearby then please ring us from your car (the best place to stop is at the top of New End – the road right next to the gallery) and someone will run out with a parking permit for you to use in the nearby streets.
By tube
We are 2 minutes walk from Hampstead underground station on the Edgeware branch of the Northern line. Just come out of the tube and turn right and keep walking up the hill. You will soon see us on your right.
By train
Hampstead Heath overground station is a lovely 15 minute walk from the gallery. Just exit the station, turn right and keep walking up the hill with the Heath on your right hand side.
After a few minutes you will come to a fork in the road. Take the left hand road – Willow Road and continue straight on up the hill. You will pass number 2 Willow Road – former home of notorious modernist architect and Bond villain Erno Goldfinger.
Willow Road becomes New End Square which in turn becomes New End. At the very top of the hill turn left onto Heath Street. You have reached your final destination.
Even though it is our property
Please note parking is no longer available on our forecourt (even though it is our property). Those nasty people at Camden Council have installed a CCTV camera and will issue parking tickets to anyone parked there (even though it is our property).
